Meditation on the Distribution of Fire

1. Say the Great Invocation

From the point of Light within the Mind of God
Let light stream forth into the minds of men.
Let light descend on Earth.

From the point of Love within the Heart of God
Let love stream forth into the hearts of men.
May Christ return to Earth.

From the centre where the Will of God is known
Let purpose guide the little wills of men—
The purpose which the Masters know and serve.

From the centre which we call the race of men
Let the Plan of Love and Light work out
And may it seal the door where evil dwells.

Let Light and Love and Power restore the Plan on Earth.

3. Salutations to the Christ, the Head of the Hierarchy.

5. Visualize a flaming chalice filled with liquid fire upon an altar. See yourself approaching the altar, dressed in white, holding a golden chalice in your right hand. Fill the chalice with liquid fire from the altar, and, in your imagination, go to those places which need light, fire, purification and harmony.

a. Starting in a city, or upon a mountaintop, hold your chalice high and see beams of fiery light radiating out of the chalice, penetrating into the city, country, nation or race.

b. Then visualize the globe upon which all our brothers and sisters are scattered, holding their chalices in their hands.

c. Say the following mantram in unison with all your brothers and sisters around the globe:

More radiant than the sun,
purer than the snow,
subtler than the ether,
is the Self,
the Spirit within my heart.
I am that Self;
that Self am I.

d. See all the radiations of all the chalices merging to form a blanket of fire around the planet, penetrating into each living form.

6. Say the Mantram of Unification, imagining that the hearts of all men are saying it with you:

The sons of men are one and I am one with them.
I seek to love, not hate;
I seek to serve and not exact due service;
I seek to heal, not hurt.

Let pain bring due reward of light and love.
Let the soul control the outer form,
and life and all events
and bring to light the Love
that underlies the happenings of the time.

Let vision come and insight.
Let the future stand revealed.
Let inner union demonstrate
and outer cleavages be gone.
Let love prevail.
Let all men love.

7. OM

8. Repeat:

In the center of the Will of God we stand.
Naught shall deflect our will from His.

9. Stand as a beam of light, radiating light and beauty for two minutes.

10. Again say the Great Invocation.
