Sun in Capricorn

1. OM OM OM

2. Visualize a pine forest in which you imagine yourself walking toward the summit of a mountain.

3. As you walk, try to hear magnificent music emerging from trees, bushes, flowers and birds. Walk on.

4. As you come closer to the summit, visualize Christ sitting under a huge pine tree in deep meditation, trying to contact the Soul of humanity.

5. See other pilgrims approaching the summit, forming a circle around Christ. Visualize Him in a pure white garment, in deep meditation, and for a few moments watch His face.

6. Close your eyes and say the Great Invocation:

From the point of Light within the Mind of God
Let light stream forth into the minds of men.
Let light descend on Earth.

From the point of Love within the Heart of God
Let love stream forth into the hearts of men.
May Christ return to Earth.

From the centre where the Will of God is known
Let purpose guide the little wills of men—
The purpose which the Masters know and serve.

From the centre which we call the race of men
Let the Plan of Love and Light work out
And may it seal the door where evil dwells.

Let Light and Love and Power restore the Plan on Earth.

8. Meditate on His words for ten minutes:

If you love each other, the world will know that you are my disciples.

Then ask yourself the following questions: "What can I do to help humanity?" Try to give three answers to your question which are practical, logical and up-to-date. This should take another five minutes.

9. Say the Mantram of Unification:

The sons of men are one and I am one with them.
I seek to love, not hate;
I seek to serve and not exact due service;
I seek to heal, not hurt.

Let pain bring due reward of light and love.
Let the soul control the outer form,
and life and all events
and bring to light the Love
that underlies the happenings of the time.

Let vision come and insight.
Let the future stand revealed.
Let inner union demonstrate
and outer cleavages be gone.
Let love prevail.
Let all men love.

10. In your visualization, go toward Christ, let Him put His hands upon your head. Feel a healing energy penetrating in to your body. Feel the energy of peace descending into your heart. Feel an enlightening energy penetrating into your mind. See yourself slowly transfigured, purified, and in a glorified state. See rays of blessings radiating out from your Soul toward humanity.

11. Make a solemn promise to Him to stand in the light of purity.

12. Say the Great Invocation.

13. Descend from the mountain. Return to wherever you are sitting; feel your body.

14. OM OM OM

15. After completing this meditation, sit in a relaxed mood for five to ten minutes and then you are ready to go forth and serve the world.
