Lecture given in the Aquarian Education Group’s old temple in Sedona, Arizona on November 20, 1991.
“Freedom is defined as the process of leading the unfolding human soul to his higher heritage of self-actualization, to the core of his being, actualized only by his aspirations, visions, and spiritual inspirations coming from his true Self.”
Cosmos in Man, p. 215
“If you read the Teaching of Christ very closely, very deeply, you will see that in that Teaching from the beginning to the end Christ is emphasizing freedom. It is not only political freedom, social freedom, and so on but also an essential freedom. That essential freedom is the elimination of all those limitations and obstacles that are preventing the human being from returning to his Divine Nature. Everything that prevents you from being yourself, your essential Self, is an obstacle, is a limitation, and the Teaching of Christ shows exactly how to eliminate these obstacles and hindrances to lead to total freedom.”
“Freedom is a process of building an ever-expending relationship with Existence as a whole, a relationship which is consciously registered and consciously utilized.”
The Psyche and Psychism, p. 1122
“Freedom means mastery over your body, your emotions, and your thoughts.”
