This course uses the classic story of the Bhagavad Gita as a basis for reflective reading and meditation. The story depicts the journey of the human soul, exemplified by the warrior Arjuna, from despondency in the face of conflict and change into the state of true liberation. The story of the Bhagavad Gita is a classic in Hindu philosophy and has been loved by people for centuries. Now you can study this wonderful book and journey along with the hero and experience the agony, conflict, and internal questioning that is often the experience of an awakening human soul.
After the Introduction Lesson, each of the following lessons follows each of the Chapters in the book, which are:

- The Yoga of Liberation Through Renunciation
Your work will include reflective reading, meditating on seed thoughts, and memorizing one or more of your favorite passages. Your end-of-the month report will consist of writing a brief summary of one of the seed thoughts or passages from the text and completing a questionnaire regarding your study and meditation.
