“…Life on this planet is a school from which we must graduate with honors. Day after day, life after life, we attend this school, learn our lessons, and either pass the tests — or fail them. On this long road toward liberation or emancipation, our sense of responsibility grows and becomes the guiding principle in our life. The idea of graduating from this school with honors can change our life and mobilize our thinking, feelings, and actions in such a way that we ready ourselves for the final exam.” (p. 7)
The Sense of Responsibility in Society explains how we can learn to become responsible, mature and wise. It is the keynote of the Law of Karma. As we become more responsible, we grow in conscious cooperation with the direction of life. As we become more responsible, our karmic liabilities decrease and, instead of suffering and pain, we bloom and expand and become filled with the joy of life.
Every person on the planet has a responsibility to care for himself or herself, to care for others, and to care for the planet. Every little step carries a big, cumulative impact on life. It is time each of us does our part and see how these efforts will eventually grow into a major planetary improvement of life for everyone.
The sense of responsibility is the cornerstone of spiritual discipleship.

The differences between men and women are part of the design of nature. These differences empower women rather than detract from them. Women are not made to be like men or to compete with men. Women are the torchbearers of society. Find out how.
Music is called the language of the gods. It is so beautiful to remember a statement made centuries ago - God sang, and as He was singing the Archetypes of all manifestation began to appear in space! What an image of the power of sacred sound.
The four volumes of the Teachings of Christ represent a lifetime of study and understanding of the deeper meanings of the Christ Teachings.
Angels and Devas exist all around us. They help us, protect us, and provide spiritual energy and healing to us. A compilation from Torkom's numerous writings on Angels and Devas.
An integrated teaching for the true and complete meaning of success. The three parts of success must be balanced: physical, material, and spiritual plus the path to overcome specific hindrances to success.
A beautifully written book on the deeper, esoteric meaning of the life and Teachings of Christ.
The Bhagavad Gita is the epic poem contained in the larger allegorical drama, the Mahabharata. It is written in a beautiful verse form, easy to understand, and is particularly suited for meditative study.
Bob Miller –
I recently had the pleasure of reading The Sense of Responsibility. Several things struck me about this book. The first was the woman who phoned into the radio station and said that the radio host talked about garbage for 3 hours and that one of Torkom’s books had more value in one page – which resulted in the radio host ordering this book and reading it on the air. The other was when Torkom sent three books to a man in a nursing home who had written him telling how he wanted to die which resulted in others in the nursing home reading the books. The formerly miserable man seemed to develop a cottage industry book selling career. Torkom was right. We are bombarded with so much garbage in this culture and society, and we have to work against it. Something that has value can be spread, just as the negative is often spread by the entertainment industry. It’s our duty to spread the positive, I’m certain of that. I agree with Torkom’s admonitions in that book. Some of his books are incredibly complex and require much re-reading and study. I was very happy with The Sense of Responsibility – because it was so clear and concise and written at such an understandable level. It’s wonderful.
